What happens if Israel attacks Iran and the anti-air/missle defense system stops them with great losses? Who/How do the captured pilots and crews rate? POWs? Enemy combatants? Gangsters? What is the deal here? Thanks.

So the only logical conclusion, as Mr. Spock would say, is that we individually have to do something about them.

But they are way over there and heavily guarded. A person could do something to Israeli interests here in America.

On Twitter, I left a reaction to the killings. Within a few minutes I got a reaction form the Israelian Ministery of Foreign Affairs (aka Ministery of Propaganda) that the flotillia was warned bla bla bla. A very simple justification for mass murder. This for me once more proves Israel has no moral, no heart and no feelings. They have turned their backs on God. And looking at the evidence once more, shows the country is a axe of evil, worse than Afganistan, Iran and N. Korea, countries that pose no real threat to th US. Zion is the anticrist!

The Israeli attack on the MV Marmara, carrying the Turkish flag, and the execution-style killing of nine Turkish citizens, of whom one was also a US citizen, just about blows NATO clean out of the water.

Turkey is a member of NATO and has the right to invoke Article 5 of the NATO charter after this raid. This article states that an attack on one NATO member is an attack on all NATO members. The US invoked Article 5 after the World Trade Center towers fell on 11 September 2001 and under this article led other NATO members in an invasion force on Afghanistan.

Should there be another aid flotilla going out from Turkey to Gaza, it will be accompanied by Turkish naval ships. If Israel attacks this flotilla, it will have to engage with the Turkish ships. This becomes an act of war and the Turkish government would certainly invoke Article 5 then. If the US does not respond, NATO is history. All other NATO members that followed the US into Afghanistan would have the right to pull out their troops as they would no longer be obliged to support the ongoing war there.

This would be one of the Obama government’s biggest blunders, to let NATO collapse due to inaction at Israel’s rogue behavior. If I were a politician in Poland or anywhere else in eastern Europe, I’d be very worried for my nation’s future security. If I were Vladimir Putin on the other hand, I’d be ordering champagne for a big party.
